FAQs

Can I enroll at any time?

We are currently running classes in session, Fall will be September to December and then we will run a winter and Spring session as well. You will still be allowed to register once the session has started. Tuition will be prorated.

What is the cost?

Tuition is charged by session depending on how many weeks of classes there are per session.

Is there a dress code?

For our combo classes like ballet/tumbling or hip hop/tumbling, there is no dress code. Students should wear clothes that are comfy to move in, and hair should be pulled back from their face. No zippers or long skirts that constrict movement. Ballet shoes are welcome but not required.

Where are you located?

We run classes out of two churches in Portland. Our SE location is location in the Genesis Project Church at 3132 SE 67th and our NE location is in the Fremont United Methodist Church at 2620 NE Fremont St. Dance classes can happen any where there is wide, open space! We love being part of our communities and operating out of these spaces allows for that to be possible.

What about missed classes?

If your dancer has to miss class because of illness or family vacation/obligations we encourage them to make up that missed class with any age and level appropriate class. For classes cancelled due to weather or other circumstances EDP will try to offer a make up class during the season.

Which class is right for my dancer?

If you are having trouble choosing a class your best bet is to contact Kaitlyn by email, info@everybodydanceproject.com, or phone, 503-560-5860. She is happy to guide you to what might be a good fit for your dancer and set up a trial class.

Why do you charge a fee for the showcase?

Our annual showcase is an opportunity for your dancer to perform all the skills they have learned throughout the season. Ticket fees go toward production costs like venue rental, teacher pay, decorations, flowers, and medals.
